Billing questions, answered.
Can I switch plans later?+
Yes — upgrade or downgrade any time. Switching to Pro takes effect immediately. Downgrading takes effect at the end of your current billing period, no clawbacks.
What happens after my 5-day free trial?+
Voting itself stays free forever — that part of the system never paywalls. After 5 days you'll pick Basic or Pro to keep seeing the aggregate flags and (for Pro) your tracked jobs dashboard. No automatic charge — we don't take card details for the trial.
Is there a yearly discount?+
Yes — 15% off if you pay yearly. €51/year for Basic (vs €60) and €81.60/year for Pro (vs €96).
Can I cancel any time?+
Yes. Cancel from Settings → Billing. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. We don't issue refunds for partial months but we don't trap you either.
What does Petalon store from my LinkedIn?+
Nothing about you, your network, your profile, or your messages. For tracked jobs we only keep what you explicitly save: the job URL, the position title, the company name, and any notes you type. The extension is read-only on LinkedIn — see the privacy page for the full breakdown.
Will I get billed if I forget to cancel my trial?+
No. We don't collect card details during the 5-day trial. You pick a plan and enter payment details only when you decide to keep going.
